After much consideration, we have decided it is time to sell our beautiful Troy.
Troy is a stunning small hack by Royalwood Boy Soprano and out of Knowing. He is a very seasoned show horse with multiple State and National wins at both horse of the years and royals, including placing in the Garryowen. He has also multiple placings in the top 10 at GN in both the Open Small Hack and Child’s classes. He also excels in breed classes.
In recent years, Troy has been competed by children and has had success with places at Sydney and Melbourne Royals in 2023.
He has been lightly shown this season by myself, and recently he was in the Top Ten at the Battle of the Borders with a second placing from one judge, after only being back in work for a month.
Troy is incredibly quiet and has experience trail riding, at pony club, and even a few jumping rounds at local shows. He really enjoys getting out of the arena as well as being in it, and would suit a teenager or adult wanting to do a bit of everything with a focus on showing. With us, he requires minimal work down, even at big shows. He is low maintenance on feed, as well as currently barefoot, and very easy to clip, float, wash, etc. Troy is currently very healthy with no soundness issues.
This is a difficult sale as we have had Troy since he was just two years old. Whilst we would love to keep him in our family, I no longer have the time to show at a high level due to work and other commitments, and Troy still has so much to offer. He thrives on attention and we think with the right partnership, he still has a lot of success in the show ring in his future. He is best suited to a rider with soft hands.
